I have been using BibDesk as a reference manager for a while now. I have mainly used it for organizing my database of references with the PDF file attached. Unfortunately BibDesk works perfectly with LyX or LATeX, but not so easily with Microsoft Word, and at least for me, it is more common to use Word to write papers than LyX or LATeX. For this reason I tried both Zotero and Mendeley to have a reference manager that could support the whole literature search, reading, cite lifecycle. If, like me, you frequently find yourselves in the necessity to write e-mails or text in two (or more than two) languages, you probably have realized that writing in a language different from the one that is currently set in the iOS is really extremely irritating. The predictive typing engine of iOS will continuously change the words you type with possible suggestions found in the dictionary. You can imagine what happens when you write in english and the dictionary is in italian.
